Description

Sago pearl drenched in coconut milk and palm sugar. It definitely tastes delightful! This is perfect for those who love the soft and bouncy texture of sago and creamy, aromatic dessert.

Instructions:

  1. Soak sago in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Use approximately 1.5 liters of water to cook the sago. (Sago turns transparent when it is completely cooked.)
  3. Strain the sago and run them under cold water, Leave sago to chill in the fridge.
  4. Prepare coconut milk by following the packaging's instruction and leave to chill.
  5. In a separate pot, prepare the thick syrup topping with 200ml of water, rock sugar, palm sugar, and pandan leaves bringing to its flavour under low heat. Watch the heat and stir regularly. Add water if necessary.
  6. To serve, pour chilled coconut milk over sago first, then add the thick syrup topping.

Ingredients: Sago pearl, Palm sugar,(Gula Melaka), Pandan leaves, Rock sugar, Coconut milk.

Storage: Store in cool dry place away from sunlight.
