A refreshing and healthy All time Malaysian favourite dessert. Lin Chee Kang (Lotus Seeds Dessert) is a dessert made with a syrup and a variety of pre-cooked ingredients. It can be served warm or cold with ice cubes and is thought to have "cooling" characteristics. Just put everything into a pot of water and boil away! Serves 3-5 person.

Instruction:

  1. Prepare all the ingredients. You can use fresh pandan leaves if you don't have the dried one.
  2. Put all ingredients in a pot with 1.5 L water. Bring to boil without a lid.
  3. Once it is boiled, reduce the heat and let it simmer for another 35 minutes. Simmer till all ingredients are soft.
  4. Once ingredients are soft, it is ready to be served hot or chilled. Can adjust the sweetness according to your liking.
  5. Enjoy!

Ingredients: White Fungus, Red dates, Dried Longan, Lotus seed, Pandan leaves. Rock sugar , Basil seed, Dried winter melon.

Storage: Store in cool dry place, avoid direct sunlight.
